When Nancy and I met to talk about her vision for the big day, she kept using the words “intimate”, and “romantic”. From the moment I arrived, the day of the wedding, I felt nothing but warmth and love. The line was blurred between family and friends, with everyone hugging, crying and laughing. There was an audible gasp when Nancy came out of her room for the first time, in her wedding dress, and I had to pick up my jaw from off the floor. She couldn’t have been more stunning. At the church, candles lined the aisle and pulpit, casting a romantic glow on Patrick and Nancy. At their home, where the reception was held, candlelight lit the rooms’ corners. Guests cozied up on sofas and chairs, munching on crab cakes and fresh fruit. Everywhere I turned, people were hugging and celebrating. Patrick and Nancy put a tremendous amount of thought into their wedding day, making their commitment and love the entire focus. Love like this doesn’t come along every day and it was incredible to be part of such a beautiful union.
