Let it Snow! {Southern Maryland Photographer}

First off, I’d like to thank all the children who wore their pajamas inside out and backwards, put ice cubes in the toilet, and presented countless other ceremonial offerings to the snow gods. I woke up this morning, completely bewildered by the sound of scraping and grunting outside. Once I blinked a dozen times, rubbed my eyes and got my bearings straight, I realized everything was covered in a gorgeous blanket of white! I instantly felt like a little kid, and burrowed back under the blankets…until the gremlins awoke and demanded to be taken outside…in their pajamas and flip-flops. Made sense to me. There’s something so magical about a good snow day. The sun catches snowflakes like giant chunks of glitter, and the air smells crisp and mysterious. I want nothing more than to snuggle on the sofa with a mug of creamy hot chocolate and have a tv marathon. New Girl, anyone? There are certain things in life, that regardless of my age, still feel as new and exciting as the first time I experienced them. What are you doing on this fabulously white and cheerful day?
