Justin and Andrea’s Autumn Afterglow Session {Southern Maryland Wedding Photographer}

Good grief. There is no way to adequately describe how much I adore this couple, and everything about their stunning wedding. Justin and Andrea have got to be one of the most fun, laid-back, sweet couples I’ve ever worked with. I was over the moon when they decided to do afterglow photos! Andrea’s dress was just plain perfection and I didn’t mind one bit taking more photos of her in it. These lovebirds have such an old, familiar style together, making them amazing to photograph. They’re the kind of couple I could hang out with down by the water, all afternoon and talk the day away. I’m so glad we had the chance to get together again, and had the best time catching up with this gorgeous pair…

Harry and Noelle’s Rustic Farm Wedding {Southern Maryland Wedding Photographer}

Two strangers crossed paths one evening, while out with friends. Harry knew Noelle was special and needed to do something to get her attention. When Noelle’s phone was left sitting on a table, Harry saved his number as “call me.” Thank goodness Noelle went for it, because these lovebirds are just the sweetest thing, and couldn’t be more perfect for each other! Their day was beautiful, bringing family and friends together to celebrate the start of their life as husband and wife. With the help of her talented mom and handy dad, Noelle put together a day full of gorgeous details. Their family farm in Valley Lee was the perfect setting for this rustic wedding and had everything they needed in one location. Harry and Noelle exchanged vows in the front yard, and partied the night away in the enormous horse barn, which was transformed into the most stunning reception hall. With a sod-covered floor, handmade banquet style tables, and dried flowers hanging from the ceiling, the barn left me speechless. What completed the day was the overwhelming feeling of love and excitement everyone shared as they celebrated. (The entertainment on the dance floor didn’t hurt either.) Capturing this day was absolutely fantastic and I was thrilled to be part of it!

Justin and Andrea’s Glamorous Wedding {Southern Maryland Wedding Photographer}

High school sweethearts, with ten years of dating under their belts, Justin and Andrea decided it was time to tie the knot. Their glamorous day took place on Solomon’s Island, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. The interior of the chapel added to the glamour of the day, with wood paneled vaulted ceilings, large windows in the eaves, and dozens of delicate pendant lights throughout. I’m always scoping out interior spaces and that church had such amazing wow factor. Don’t even get me started about Andrea’s dress. Those RUFFLES! Andrea was jaw-dropping from head to toe, and Justin was all smiles when his bride came down the aisle. Don’t let the ruffles and tuxe fool you. Justin and Andrea could not be more down-to-earth. (Would you believe me if I told you she hunts?) They are the sweetest people and made me feel like family. Justin and Andrea’s bridal party was the biggest group yet, with eleven bridesmaids and eleven groomsmen! Talk about a party! This group’s excitement was nonstop and I had the best time capturing all their fun moments throughout the day…

Sean and Jenn’s Valentine’s Day Wedding {Southern Maryland Wedding Photographer}

Sean and Jenn made this Valentine’s Day extra special by tying the knot! Their super elegant day took place at the Westin, in Annapolis, with all their closest family and friends. The entire wedding came together flawlessly, with sweet moments throughout the day. Sean was amazed beyond words when he got his first look at Jenn before the ceremony, and grinned from ear to ear. That dress! That gorgeous lace overlay! Jenn’s love of red translated perfectly into the decor, with pops of color against crisp black and white. Sean’s (yes, Sean’s) choice of rosette table linens knocked my socks off, and added so much texture to the ballroom. I used the word “stunning” way too much that day, but could you blame me? Eye candy overload! Decorations, dress, and kilt aside, the moment that took the cake for me, was right before the ceremony. I was outside with Sean and Jenn when snowflakes started to fall. Without missing a beat, Sean put out his hand and asked Jenn to dance with him. Slow dancing in the snow, with your sweetheart, on your Valentine’s wedding day. Does it get any sweeter than that?
